5K a year Set up, maintain and operate machinery in the Production Area.
Essential Functons:
Startup, shutdown and changeovers Load, unload and splice paper/film Measure film/paper; properly align raw materials onto the machine Read labels on raw materials; understanding the numbers/colors Re-web machine; change chucks; startup machine after a maintenance problem.
Perform generalized adjustments of all areas of the machine (back print, coating weight, etc.
) Operate PIT and other equipment to load/unload raw materials and finished goods from Production Machine and LTW ensuring proper storage Operate control panel, back print, corona, humidifier, etc.
Perform sleeve change (clean back print sleeve); adding ink when needed Use testing equipment to perform specific quality checks for each product series Work with Business Express Software to create labels for finished goods, print raw material list, etc.
Work with ORAFOL Americas Intranet to complete roll records and maintain proper shift documentation.
Fully manage the schedule and requirements of designated line Troubleshoot non-maintenance problems and correcting the issues.

Responsibilities:
Mix Silicon; Transport adhesives from Chemical Storage (as needed) Proactively detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to department supervisor.
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Follows prescribed safety regulations; wears proper PPE Maintains an optimal level of product quality and adheres to ORAFOL's Quality Program Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Director or other member of management team.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma required; Technical Degree a plus Work
Experience:
PC skills, strong English written and verbal communication skills required; Required forklift certification and ability to understand production procedures Aptitudes & Characteristics:
Must have a positive can do attitude and a sense of accountability Must be a fast learner, driven and self-motivated; strive towards continuous improvement Must have a strong attention to detail Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
