If you love a fresh environment and a have a passion for people, this may be the position for you! BASIC OVERVIEW The Training Specialist provides instruction and delivers various training programs to staff at the warehouse level.
This position ensures that training programs are implemented consistently across departments and shifts with the intent to enhance knowledge and skills of employees, decrease errors, increase accuracy and quality, and maintain maximum productivity.
The Training Specialist works closely with various Team Leads and QAs across departments to identify discrepancies regarding training and operating procedures.
The Training Specialist also identifies strategies to increase consistency across departments and shifts.
This position is expected to follow-up with new hires during and after their introductory period to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
This role supports the roll-out of updated policies/procedures and coordinates re-training activities to address current issues with productivity, accuracy, and quality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintain and deliver training programs that are relevant and effective in addressing local needs to all new hires Create resources that ensure continued accuracy and quality of operations Provide a clear summary of new hire training progress to managers on a weekly basis Oversee the training and development process during a new hire's introductory period to ensure that training standards and expectations are being met Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adapt as needed Communicate and collaborate with managers and employees across departments and shifts to identify training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement Support high performance standards through the use of coaching, training, and development strategies that drive operational best practices across departments Maintain a high level of operating knowledge and positive employee relations by working, at minimum, one day each month with each department and/or shift Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding job tasks & company policies and procedures Cross-train in all warehouse functions to ensure that training needs are met by the department Other duties as assigned WE ARE LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE WHO:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change Ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) YOU MUST BE ABLE TO MEET THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 8-12 hours/day depending on shift Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching Requires the ability to regularly lift / carry 50-75lbs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; receiving and/or inventory experience preferred High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
SHIFT SCHEDULE Friday - Sunday from 6:
