As a Systems Administrator 3 you will be responsible for the functions outlined below:
Essential Functions:
Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
Provide enterprise systems administration and technical support companywide to ensure high availability of mission critical technical services Proactively manage and maintain configurations and deployments of systems, servers, and related solutions.
Corporate infrastructure support including Windows server configuration and administration, Knowledge of typical network and server infrastructure implementations, Familiarity with Firewall, VPN, and Intrusion Detection & Preventions Appliances, Various levels of Customer & Technical Support services and Windows Domain and Active Directory managementParticipate in development and management of diverse systems and solutionsParticipate in the configuration and deployment efforts of critical operating environmentsDiagnose and identify system and infrastructure efficiency improvements based on service requirementsProvide Windows Server support in Physical and Virtual EnvironmentsServe as lead support technicianProvide Help Desk Support for network, server, and software related issues including afterhours support as part of a shared escalation teamProvide routine preventative maintenance on all systems and servers, to include, but not limited to, patching, updates and upgradesTroubleshooting and repairing workstations when requiredProvide customers with various levels of technical and software supportImplement and maintain services including M365, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, File and Folder permissions, Antivirus Software and other Corporate Infrastructure services.
Working knowledge of systems management and deployment appliancesExpected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environmentOther responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
Provide customers with various levels of technical and software supportWorking knowledge of systems management and deployment appliancesParticipates in the company's efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environmentOther responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems with 4 - 7 years of experience; or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
Operations experience in a production environment preferred.
Strong working knowledge of various technologies, experience with technologies common to manufacturing environments is preferred.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.
Teamwork and the ability to cooperate and work proactively with others is a must.
Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
Ability to use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program write software, set up functions, enter data or process information.
Working knowledge of systems management and deployment appliances.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
Proven ability to lead a progressive IT group.
Broad knowledge of data processing systems, concepts, and methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience in implementing effective and innovative software development methodologies.
PowerShell, Visual Basic, and Networking.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines and pressure.
Ability to work, interact and effectively communicate with all company officials, employees, vendors, customers, etc.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook Word)VMware, MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network +, and Server
Certifications Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the normal work day.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
